Automatic Wheel Washing Systems

In order to complement FLEXI Silty Water Treatment Systems which effluent can be recycled for wheel washing, and also to answer the Singapore government’s call to raise productivity, we market to building contractors a highly effective automatic wheel washing system that uses high pressure water sprays to remove dirt and debris from the wheels of construction vehicles.

The Singapore Building and Construction Authority supports the purchase of auto wheel washers under its Technology Adoption Mechanisation Credit Scheme (see https://www.bca.gov.sg/MechC/mechc.html for more information) because of productivity gains from saving manpower as full time operators are no longer required to complete such menial work. As an added benefit for the contractor, his utilities costs will also be reduced due to the recycling of water.

Grating Type DW – SG01

The Grating Type Auto Wheel Washing System has sensors that activate the spraying of water at high pressure. Unlike the roller type system where construction vehicles rest on the rollers which will automatically turn the wheels, vehicles will have to slowly pass through the system to wash their tyres. If additional washing is required, the vehicles can reverse and start the washing process again. This system has to be installed into a foundation pit.

Roller Type DW – SR08

The Roller Type Auto Wheel Washing System operates automatically when a construction vehicle simply moves onto the rollers and the gear is placed in neutral. The rollers will turn the wheels as the strategically placed nozzles dose tyres with high pressure water to remove accumulated dirt. This type of wheel washing system requires a foundation pit to be built.

Movable Grating Type DW – SG03M

The manner in which the Movable Grating Type Auto Wheel Washing System washes the wheels is the same as the Grating Type Auto Wheel Washing System. The difference between the two is only that the Movable Grating Type Auto Wheel Washing Systems does not require a foundation pit but requires 4 steel ramps for the trucks to move onto and off the automatic system.
