The Singapore Public Utilities Board has made it mandatory for contractors to install silty water treatment systems at construction sites as part of their earth control measures.

Stormwater runoff is generated by rainfall that lands on sites. With increasing urbanisation and climate change, it is important to provide for adequate drainage in all developments to manage higher stormwater peak runoff and effectively protect against flood risks.
Geocomposite


Geocomposite are excellent subsurface drainage systems. They are non-woven geotextiles laminated on both sides with a high density polyethylene drainage net core. Water can easily pass through to the polymer core for water transport while soil is prevented from washing through to the core.

Geomembrane

Geomembranes are used to prevent contamination of subsurface soils or groundwater. They are made of non-porous synthetic materials and are available in a wide variety of physical, mechanical and chemical resistant properties to suit differing geotechnical applications and designs.

The most commonly used material types for geomembranes are HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride).

• Secondary containment in the event of spills

HDPE Geomembranes

We provide High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Geomembranes produced using high molecular weight resins and free of leakable additives. They are of premium quality, relatively flexible and are chemical and UV resistant.

Zipdrain Dimple Membrane

We distribute Zipdrain Dimple Membrane, a flexible subsoil drainage mat that can efficiently drain seepage water with high flow rate. It is made of durable High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) core and non-woven spunbonded polyester filters that are highly resistant to most chemical, bacteria and fungi normally found in soils.

As compared to using traditional gravel drainage layers, Zipdrain Dimple Membrane is much lighter and therefore drastically reduces loading on decks. Users also benefit from increased working efficiency due to faster installation and easier handling.
